OUR STORY

The Shieldcoat story began with Mark Slater who founded Shieldcoat in 1996. Mark had a passion for Chemistry growing up, and it eventually grew into a love of "watching paint dry".

From humble beginnings in a small shed, employing mostly family and friends. We now operate from a 2500 square meter factory in South Brisbane's busy industrial precinct. 

Shieldcoat are proud of our family oriented beginnings and strive to uphold that tradition as we grow towards becoming a major player in both the Australian and International paint markets.

It is through our commitment to creating new innovative solutions, matched by our ability to produce outstanding, high quality and environmentally friendly products that we have been able to cement our position as industry an leader.
